The vine plants are 80 years old planted on a sunny hillside.
Vinification : With the old method without separating the grapes on the staulks and treading. The vinification of these kind of wine are offently very long.The syrah is aged in new oak barrels during few months and the grenache in aged oak barrels.Blend of these 2 cepages in concrete tank before bottling.
Tasting : Very fruity wine with a nice ruby color, round, powerfull, full-bodied, smooth with leather flavour at the end of the mouth. Very appreciated wine.
