• 60% Grenache
• 40% Syrah
These vine plants are 60 years old planted on a very sunny hillside.
Vinification : with the old method without separating the grapes on the staulks and treading that is called semi carbonic maceration. Aged in large cask during 12 months for the grenache and oak barrels for the syrah and the mourvedre.
Tasting : These oldest vine plants give a vintage wine with the greatest quality. Ruby red with delicate peppery nose which precedes a big, full and plump wine with a violet flavour and an amazing aftertaste. This wine is definitely worth it.
Excellent with candied soulder of lamb.
