Domaine Mazurd

Tulette is a pleasant village located in the hearth of the Rhone Valley. This village is surrounded with several hillsides which made the quality of the wines. The climate is dry because off the Mistral which is a North wind and it drive the clouds and so the rain.

The Mazurd family is between the oldest families of this place livign  of the wines and of his own production.

His vineyard represente 118 hectares. It is located on several districts : Tulette, Bouchet, Visan, Valréas and Rasteau. So it offers an important diversity of soils, more often clayey limestone stony soils. These soils give the originality to the wines.

In Tulette, we have founded the proof of the wine growing since XVIth century.

At Mazurd Winery, the wines are made with traditional methods, that is to say without separating the grapes on the staulks and treading. Today, only the oldest vineplants are handly cut.
